Fallout fans just discovering there's a hidden game in the series

Did you forget about this one?

Fallout fans who think they’ve played every game in the series have probably missed one, though to be fair you’ll find it in the most unexpected place imaginable.

The next game in the Fallout series will be Fallout 5, though the countdown until release is unfortunately a long one with games like The Elder Scrolls VI set to launch before it.

Check out the teaser trailer for The Elder Scrolls VI below

Now you could play some fan-made Fallout games like Fallout: London, or check out the latest content update for Fallout 76, but these are far from the official full-length experiences we’re waiting for from Bethesda, no shame to them at all.

That being said, what if I told you there’s a Fallout game you probably haven’t played, in Minecraft of all places…

That’s right you may have forgotten Minecraft regularly has collaborations with a number of different IPs, usually generating new skins, texture packs, and sometimes full-blown worlds to explore.

A Fallout one exists called Minecraft: Vault-Tec Edition, and it’s a unique experience worth checking out if you’re a fan of the series.

It recreates some of the areas in the games like Washington DC from Fallout 3, and even has a few quests to complete if you fancy it, otherwise you can just treat it as any other Minecraft realm.

A surprising number of players didn’t even know this was a thing, seen through a Reddit thread by JacsweYT.

“I never knew such a thing existed” said one commenter, with another saying it was actually their “intro to Fallout.”

“It’s pretty fun. I hate to admit it, but I spent the longest time trying to repair the structures in the mashup pack” added another.

You can find the Fallout mash-up pack in Minecraft’s store, and it’s worth a go while you wait for the next official game.
