Elder Scrolls: Morrowind Rebirth officially available for you to download now

Return to Morrowind

Elder Scrolls fans can return to Morrowind in this awesome fan-made expansion project, which is now better than ever thanks to a recent update.

While it seems like Bethesda has no plans to revisit some of its beloved titles and give them the remake treatment, fans are hard at work keeping the classics alive with various expansions, reskins and more.

Astro Bot launches on PlayStation consoles later this week! Will you be buying?

To be fair you can’t blame Bethesda for not having the time, as it currently has three massive IPs to look after; The Elder Scrolls, Fallout and now Starfield if any sequels are planned, not to mention Indiana Jones And The Great Circle.

So while you’re waiting for the next big Bethesda release, which will be The Elder Scrolls VI if you don’t count Starfield’s Shattered Space expansion, why not revisit one of the best Elder Scrolls games?

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Rebirth is exactly what it says on the tin, a rebirth project to bring the old RPG up to the standards of a modern-day games.

The mod adds new quests, armour, weapons, open-world details and more, and it’s regularly updated with bug fixes and modifications to make it even better.

It’s a must-play for Elder Scrolls fans who primarily play on PC, and it’s also perfect for those who are yet to give Morrowind a go and are put off by its age.

That being said, if you play this heavily-modded version of Morrowind and still don’t think it’s your cup of tea, you can always give The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and go, and of course The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is always a consistently good time.

You could even be a bit brave and try The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, if you want a better idea of where the series truly started…
