Uhh, I think the wait for The Elder Scrolls VI might have actually fried some folks’ brains, because now they’re excited for… the fact that nothing is on the way? Somebody please do a welfare check, good lord.
Ok, so, at the Xbox Games Showcase last week, Microsoft and Bethesda teamed up to announce… absolutely zero news about The Elder Scrolls VI.
A lot of folks were expecting something at the event, considering how long it’s been since we actually heard anything from Bethesda regarding the game’s development, so naturally, everyone was disappointed that they hyped themselves up for nothing.

And, well… the threads that are starting to pop up over on the r/TESVI subreddit are actually starting to get kind of depressing, because now there are ones like this where people are happy that the game is, um, taking a really long time? Oh god, they’re truly losing it.
“the longer the game is in development, likely means the more functional it will be and more features it will likely have”, commented user Soft-Violinist-3144.
“i still wish for some kind of update, more then just, year we're working on, like a developer diaries series, where they talk about things they are working on in the game.”
“Yeah Oblivion Remaster was throwing a dog a bone and they hoping we will shut up now. Look I see how great it is, I understand why some prefer it”, replied user .

“I'm happy there wasn't and to be honest I would've expected it to suck if they did reveal something. Hate to hate, but after Starfield they really need to reinvent the wheel”, replied user Fr3d_St4r.
“They better take their sweet time, personally i'm hoping for at least another 2 years, I really want a good RPG that has that old Bethesda feel, but with a modern coating and improvements as there aren't really any games that have scratched that itch for years.”
Bethesda, please release a screenshot or something because, good lord these folks are struggling out here.
Imagine wanting this game to take even longer. They’re truly lost at this point. May god have mercy on their souls.
