Keanu Reeves performs with his band for the first time in two decades, rolling back the years.
Is there no end to the talents of the breathtaking Keanu Reeves? Not only is he a fantastic Hollywood actor and all-around good guy, but she’s a creator of a comic book series and a musician. Keanu Reeves is truly the gift that keeps on giving.
As reported by our friends at LADbible, the 58-year-old actor was at the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival in California over the weekend and was reunited with his band, Dogstar. In fact, it was the band’s first gig in over 20 years, so it was no doubt a momentous occasion for everyone involved.

Dogstar originally formed way back in 1991 and Reeves joined the group following a chance meeting with drummer Robert Mailhouse in a supermarket. Reeves was recruited as bass guitarist joining vocalist Bret Domrose, as well as Mailhouse. Sadly, after releasing two EPs, the band split in 2002.
Keanu rolled back the years with his friends on the Verizon stage (no relation to the Pokémon, probably) on Saturday 27 May 2023 taking fans in attendance by surprise. One such fan is Steve-Beni who shared a clip on Twitter, featuring the band showcasing their musical talents. The festival also featured the likes of Lizzo, Duran Duran and Carly Rae Jepsen.

However, it seems that Dogstar wasn't just back for the festival, as they announced that the band is recording a new single as well as an accompanying music video.
“So much to do, but rest assured, we are on it,” the group told fans in attendance. “Can’t wait to share our new music with everyone. It’s the most satisfying and meaningful batch of songs we’ve ever done. Thanks again for being so patient with us. We truly have the best, most loyal fans.”
In related news, and what can be considered an opposite to today’s story, following the recent release of the fourth entry, John Wick director Chad Stahelski says that Keanu Reeves is done with the movie franchise. That being said, the popular actor will be reprising his role as Johhny Silverhand in the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 expansion, Phantom Liberty.
