It’s been almost two years since Invincible's incredible first season drew to a close so I’d imagine that by this stage, you’re itching for more. The good news is, it has officially been confirmed that Invincible’s second season is set to premiere this year.

If you’re not familiar with the show, the adult animated series follows the adventures of 17-year-old Mark Grayson who just so happens to be the son of superhero Omni-Man. With his father’s guidance, Mark learns what it takes to become a superhero all whilst dealing with the usual tribulations of being a teenager. Season one landed a respectable score of 98% over on Rotten Tomatoes so season two has a lot to live up to.

Check out a brand new trailer for season two below.

Amazon Prime has finally released a teaser trailer for Invincible’s second season and we now know that the show is due to return in late 2023. We’ve still got a pretty hefty wait in front of us but at least the end is finally in sight. The teaser trailer predominantly stars Invincible (Steven Yeun) and Allen The Alien (Seth Rogen).

The pair are engaged in a riveting argument over whether burgers should include pickles or not. I vote no, but that’s irrelevant. In a very meta change of topic, the duo then discuss all the work that’s required to create a season of Invincible before confirming the late 2023 premiere window. If you haven’t yet checked out the series, I highly recommend it.

In case you missed it, an Invincible video game is actually in the works at Skybound Entertainment. We don’t know too much about the project but it’s happening and that’s something. If Telltale’s The Walking Dead is anything to go by, I’d imagine that we’re in for a treat.
