Enjoyers of the horror genre - in whatever form of media it might take - never cease to amaze me. If I hear that a show or film is going to chill me to my very core, to the extent that I may never have a restful night of sleep again, I generally take that as a sign to walk away and vow to never lay my eyes on it.
However, fans of all things terrifying are simply built different, and when it’s claimed that something is nightmare-inducing, it’s no longer a warning, but a promise. That’s why I’m sure that plenty of people are going to be interested in the ongoing science fiction horror series, FROM, which LADbible reports has left many ‘too scared to sleep’.
Take a look at the trailer for FROM below.
For those unfamiliar, FROM is set in an American town which traps all who enter - residents are forced to fight for survival against the horrifying creatures lurking in the surrounding area. The first season released in April 2022, and to say it was received well would be a massive understatement - it earned an overwhelmingly positive critic score of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. While the second season only just commenced a few weeks ago, it currently holds a critic score of 100%, and you literally can’t get any better than that.

Truly, it sounds like the only downside is the potential nightmares that could be induced as a result of watching it. On Twitter, fans have been sharing just how terrifying the show is: “I am completely and utterly OBSESSED and in love with FROM. Easily one of my [favourite] shows in a long time. I’ve never been so scared of a TV show, literal nightmares at night but still want more. It needs to stay on forever, Sunday has become my [favourite] day of the week,” @elle3305 tweeted. “Just watched the first two episodes of FROM. Won’t be getting any sleep tonight now!” wrote @liamdoc07. “This is the scariest show I’ve ever watched, it so good,” added @LowkeyNinja.
Although you can watch the entire first season of FROM on NOW TV in the UK, the second season is currently only airing in the US - hopefully, it’ll make its way overseas soon.
