Hogwarts Legacy players have begun experimenting with the game’s combat system to figure out the most optimal ways to dish out damage, and one player’s discovery doesn’t actually require any spells at all. Perfect for if you don’t want to go full dark wizard and sling Avada Kedavra at anyone who crosses you.
The Wizarding World RPG has got off to an undeniably successful start, but many gamers have been opposed to its release. Some have decided to boycott the title due to its association with J.K. Rowling, who has been heavily criticised for making harmful comments about the trans community. It was recently revealed that the charity speedrunning event GDQ has banned Hogwarts Legacy (as well as all other Harry Potter games), but it’s not currently known if this is to support the boycott.

Players have quickly discovered that the game is surprisingly brutal - even if your character chooses not to use Avada Kedavra on their foes, many of the regular spells also seem to kill enemies. In fact, it doesn’t take long at all to rack up a higher kill count than Voldemort.

Over on Reddit, one user has shared what they claim to be the “most overpowered combo in the game”, and it’s definitely not what you’d expect. It requires cabbage. Lots of cabbage.
“Your combo is: maxed perk piranha cabbage, Thunderbrew potion, and rollout with dodge,” Explosive_Ponny explained. “It's like being the Sonic the Hedgehog with South Park farting power, powered with cabbage. Be proud Thunderbrew cabbage bearer. Be unbeatable.”
They’re not the only player to have discovered a deadly use for cabbages - it was previously discovered that Chinese Chomping Cabbages can be used to decimate foes. Who knew vegetables could be so powerful?
