Even without acknowledging its existence, we all knew Grand Theft Auto VI was coming. It’s a no brainer for Rockstar and last month, the game was finally confirmed albeit without Rockstar’s permission. As I’m sure you’re now aware, Rockstar was subject to a major cyber attack during which over an hour of GTA VI development footage was stolen and leaked along with source code and screenshots.

In the weeks since, fans have been using the leaked information to try and build out GTA VI’s map with some even complaining that it could be too big. I guess you can’t please everyone. One GTA fan has imagined an alternative future for the franchise though, creating an incredible sequel to GTA: San Andreas that sees CJ return to Grove Street 30 years later.

Take a look at this incredible GTA V mod which allows you to play as The Boys’ Homelander.

As reported by WCCF Tech, YouTuber TeaserPlay has created an incredible Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas 2 concept trailer using Unreal Engine 5. Set 30 years after the events of San Andreas, the trailer sees a grey-haired CJ return to his old stomping ground, taking in a series of familiar sights. Take a look below.

Describing the project, TeaserPlay said, “Fans have long wished to see CJ again in a San Andreas sequel. Although this sequel may never happen, we can at least imagine it. The 59-year-old CJ can once again return to Grove Street, a street that no longer has its former vitality and its residents have gone. This video can also be a tribute to the memories of us gamers from this unique game, we hope you enjoy it.”

Needless to say, it made fans quite emotional. Thomas Kehmoka commented, “The nostalgia belongs to us all,” while Miguel Gonzalez added, “Watching this takes me back to the good old days.” Faizan Rajput said, “Why does it feel like I’ve come home after many years?” Okay, now I’m emotional too.
