The Blood of Dawnwalker gives players three distinct romance options, each offering multiple choices, branching story paths, and different romance endings. Here, we’ll let you know what the Dawnwalker community says is the best romance relationship, which, to be honest, only has one clear winner, right?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, there’s a good chance that you would have at least heard of the brand new dark fantasy RPG taking the video game community by storm recently: the aforementioned The Blood of Dawnwalker.

Developed by Rebel Wolves, which consists of developers who were once at CD Projekt RED and worked on the likes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077, it’s clear from the outset that The Blood of Dawnwalker comes with a strong RPG pedigree, and judging by its reception, its pedigree has been fulfilled, and then some.

While offering no big gameplay advantages, having the three strong romance options all adds to the overall immersion of The Blood of Dawnwalker. However, who do we choose, and which partner is best suited for the game's protagonist, Coen?

The three choices are Anca, who is probably framed by the game as being the strongest choice for Coen. She’s also one of the main characters in the game. Then we have Lacra, who is a vampire just like Coen. She’ll probably have the darkest-themed stories of the three, literally and figuratively. Finally, Crake is a leader of the rebel faction called Manumit, and if you want to get involved in his rebellion, Crake is your way in.

What is the best romance in The Blood of Dawnwalker?

“Best romance so far?” asked Redditor Nerdie1992. “I'm curious what everyone thinks is the best romance in The Blood of Dawnwalker. I'm kinda leaning towards Anca.”

Just a heads up, there will be spoilers in The Blood of Dawnwalker Reddit threads.

“I've done Anca and Lacra so far, and it's easily Lacra, not even a question. Anca's missions are boring after the prologue, imo and Lacra's are awesome, and they have great banter,” replied ProfessionalWafer829.

“Lacra any day of the week,” agreed the_waltt.

“Between Lacra and Anca, it's Lacra all day,” added KingCapet.

“Anca because I don't think Lacra is good for my sweet boy Coen,” replied WittyLlama.

“Both, day wife and night wife,” suggested virtua91.

Virtua91 actually makes a very valid point, if you’re that inclined, because if you wanted to, you could romance all three relationship options in The Blood of Dawnwalker. Speaking of which, there doesn't seem to be much love for Crake in the Reddit threads. Poor Crake.

“The Blood of Dawnwalker deserves to be a new AAA mainstay, and I’d gladly join Coen on future ventures,” said GAMINGbible’s Kate, scoring it an “Exceptional” 9/10.
