A new hit GTA VI rival has dropped a bonus freebie for those who subscribe to PlayStation Plus, and you can claim it right now.
There’s no denying that GTA VI is easily the most highly anticipated game of 2026; in fact, it’s probably the most highly anticipated game of the 2020’s. That’s assuming, of course, that it doesn't suffer another release date delay.
However, assuming that Rockstar Games doesn't delay the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series one more time, what games of a similar ilk can we play in the meantime? Well, we have at least one recommendation, and that’s the free-to-play and newly released NTE: Neverness to Everness.
“NTE is a supernatural open-world RPG developed by Hotta Studio. The story begins in the city of Hethereau, where you play as its first "unlicensed" Anomaly Hunter,” reads the synopsis of the game. “You'll join the crew at Eibon, a rundown antique shop that keeps the lights on by taking Anomaly commissions from anyone willing to pay.”
In a nutshell, NTE is an open-world action game that very much looks to be one for fans who not only love the Grand Theft Auto series but also anime.

The ‘NTE PlayStation Plus Member Pack’ includes:
You can claim the free DLC by signing into your PlayStation Network account, and then accessing it via the PlayStation website, mobile app or PS5 console.
Yes, at the moment, it’s not only available on PlayStation 5, but also on PC for Windows and Google Play, as well as compatible Android and iOS devices. However, at the time of writing, NTE: Neverness to Everness is not listed as coming to Xbox or Nintendo consoles.
As for GTA VI, that is currently scheduled to be released on 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Its PC release hasn't been announced yet, but we’re sure it will arrive at some point. We’ll keep you posted as soon as Rockstar Games officially announces Grand Theft Auto VI on PC.
