PlayStation Plus’ premium tier just gained a surprise new day one freebie with very little fanfare - and it’s one that Grand Theft Auto fans may want to check out.
As I’m sure you’re aware, the premium tier offers access to a library of classic titles, but so too does it grant subscribers an array of Game Trials.
Think of Game Trials as premium demos.
While the PlayStation Store has free demos anyone can try, the most exciting upcoming releases are usually reserved for PlayStation Plus’ Game Trials where users can sample several hours in some cases.

This week, a new Game Trial arrived and it just so happens to be for a day one launch.
Sample Two-Hours of Cash Cleaner Simulator Now
PlayStation Plus premium users can now sample Cash Cleaner Simulator, with the trial lasting for a very generous two-hours.
“Check it, clean it, sort it, ship it. Welcome to the life of a cash cleaner. Take jobs from underworld contacts and clean some cash. Just don't try to leave,” reads the synopsis.
You can likely see the Grand Theft Auto link here; this is a game for those who love diving into seedy, criminal underworlds.
You step into the shoes of a low-level criminal that just so happens to specialise in cleaning money.
It’ll arrive in a number of ways, whether that’s in a box or stuffed into a mattress.
You need to free the money, discard of counterfeit bills, before washing it clean if you want to get paid.
As you progress, there’s the opportunity to order new tools to “increase your efficiency and scale up your operation”.

There’s also an element of Schedule I about this, another GTA alternative.
As you might have picked up, there is a story running through Cash Cleaner Simulator. Aren’t you curious to find out why you can’t leave?
In terms of how you clean the money, you can make use of a wide array of aids like a washing machine, dryer, counting machine, and more.
There’s a phone that you’ll use to secure new jobs, plus a fun money gun if you want to fire clean bills around just for the hell of it.
A UV lamp may also reveal some secrets in your base too. Ooo.
As I said, the Game Trial provides free access to two-hours of this title, and it’s already sitting at a very impressive 4.54 on the PlayStation Store. That’s near perfection.
If you do like what you play, the full release of Cash Cleaner Simulator is priced at £15.99.
