Grand Theft Auto VI fans are bracing for more news regarding the third trailer, with recent activity suggesting it could be soon.
Evidence points to Rockstar Games being set to release the next trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI ahead of its November launch within the coming days.
This is giving fans a sliver of hope at finally being able to see some live gameplay, which still hasn’t been seen despite pre-orders being live for over a month.
The latest Grand Theft Auto VI rumour features a mix of different activities by Sony and Rockstar, with some fans concluding that a new trailer is about to drop.

As shared on Reddit, users have reported that the PlayStation App on mobile is pushing pre-orders for GTA VI as soon as they open the app, targeted at users who haven’t pre-ordered the game.
This has led fans to believe that Sony will be doing another big marketing push after the initial pre-order campaign in June. The game has also been added to PlayStation 5’s list of most anticipated titles in 2026.
It’s also been pointed out that Rockstar has suspended marketing for the Kortz Center Heist DLC in GTA Online this week, also pointing to something GTA VI-related coming out soon.
Getting a little more ‘tinfoil hat’, Reddit users also spotted that Rockstar Games spent over eight hours online on Discord yesterday, which is “rare” according to fans.

How credible are these new GTA VI rumours?
If you ask us, it seems this might all just be a bunch of coincidences lining up perfectly, and may not actually mean that a third trailer is coming this week.
We’ve seen the conspiracy theories that Rockstar fans will come up with to “predict” the date of the next trailer, and it’s the kind of stuff that would stir Mulder and Scully.
Nevertheless, with the game set to launch on November 19, 2026, it’s about time they actually started showing us some gameplay, especially if they’re already taking money.

Grand Theft Auto VI will be the first new instalment in the GTA series since 2013’s GTA V. When pre-orders launched towards the end of June, fans were unhappy with the fact that the game would be skipping a physical edition, instead shipping with a code in boxed copies.
Pre-loads for GTA VI will launch a week before release, on November 12, allowing you to download the game in time to play it along with everyone else.
There are two editions of the game available to pre-order: the Standard Edition which costs £69.99/$79.99, and the Ultimate Edition which costs £89.99/$99.99, with the main difference being that a lot of cosmetic items and a few side missions are locked behind the more expensive version.
Pre-orders will also gain access to the Vice City Vintage Pack, an additional DLC which features a bunch of retro-inspired clothing, hairstyles, and vehicles for players to use.
