Grand Theft Auto VI is poised to rear its head any day now.
The game’s launch is just over six months away, with Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick having promised that marketing will begin soon.
Take-Two are due to hold an earnings call on 21 May, with many suspecting that GTA VI’s third trailer or pre-orders could land before then.
After all, that certainly would give investors something to be excited about.

Rockstar Games also began interacting with fans on social media yesterday, something it hasn’t done in several years.
With pre-orders likely to open any day now, the conversation has once again returned to the cost of GTA VI.
One industry analyst previously set the internet alight claiming that GTA VI could reasonably be the first game to change $100 for its base version.
Debate and speculation has followed but now, Zelnick has returned with some thoughts that should put our minds at ease.
Speaking at iicon, as reported by IGN, Zelnick explained that “value delivery” for consumers is at the forefront of all decision making.
“Consumers pay for the value that you bring to them, and our job is to charge way way way less of the value delivery,” he said.
“How you feel about something you buy is the intersection of the thing itself and what you pay for.
“Consumers need to feel like the thing itself is amazing and the price they were charged was fair for what they got.”

While Zelnick wouldn’t pin down GTA VI’s price ahead of pre-orders opening, it certainly sounds as if it'll be in line with the type of pricing we’ve come to expect, i.e. around $70.
Zelnick went on to talk about the stability of video game pricing, explaining that it hasn’t risen in line with inflation.
“If you look at it through that lens, that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense,” he began.
“But that isn’t the lens through which we look. Instead, we look at… how do we deliver something amazing, and how do we make sure that what people pay for it feels very reasonable.”
The consumer really does appear to be at the heart of all decision making which is really great to see - especially as, let’s face it, GTA VI is not going to struggle to fly off shelves.
Alongside GTA VI’s base edition, there are likely to be other variants.
Most AAAs these days usually come accompanied by a deluxe and collector’s edition, offering players exclusive DLC or real-life merchandise.
As soon as GTA VI’s various editions are announced ahead of pre-orders opening, we’ll be certain to bring that news to you.
GTA VI is currently only slated to land on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. A PC version will likely follow but is yet to be confirmed.
