Today is a big day for Grand Theft Auto fans as publisher Take-Two Interactive will be holding yet another earnings call.
It’s speculated that GTA VI’s long-awaited third trailer will be released before, or during, the meeting and plenty of ‘leaks’ have already capitalised on that hype.
One of the latest has suggested what kind of prices we can expect from the game’s release, and to everyone’s dismay, that dreaded $99 has returned with it.
We’re going to preface this leak by saying it comes from 4chan, so take it with a huge pinch of salt.
Shared by GTA6_Premium on X, the anonymous poster claims to work closely with Rockstar Games but can’t go into detail for fear of losing their job. They also added that some of the latest rumours regarding another delay are completely false.

Without going into too much detail the leaker said Rockstar Games will share an announcement two hours before the Take-Two earnings call.
This will apparently be the third trailer and shortly after that, pre-orders for the game will go live on the Xbox and PlayStation stores. PC users will have to wait until 2027 for their version.
It was also said Rockstar plans to launch two versions of GTA VI in November, a standard edition and a premium edition.
The standard edition will apparently cost $69.99 whereas the premium edition will cost $99.99. The contents of both editions wasn’t shared, but based on previous Rockstar releases the premium edition will probably net you some in-game currency, and maybe early-access to some stuff like clothes, guns and vehicles.
Like we said, this ‘leak’ comes from 4chan so it’s not to be taken at face value. We have no idea who this person is or whether they actually work with Rockstar Games so until the earnings call later today, don’t take what they say too seriously.
These claims do somewhat line up with previous statements from Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick.

In recent interviews, Zelnick put fears to rest by suggesting GTA VI won’t cost $100 at launch and while that’s probably true for the base version, there was obviously no promise given on any enhanced versions.
Hopefully we’ll know more later today. The earnings call feels like the perfect backdrop to finally give us that third trailer, and with that 19 November release date quickly approaching, pre-orders need to go live sooner or later.
We’d suggest having some retailers in mind ahead of time if you’re after a physical copy, as there’s bound to be a massive rush to get first dibs and several online stores are likely to crash from the influx of customers.
