The first review for GTA VI is in, well, kinda, and it’s a good sign for the highly anticipated Rockstar Games title.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock over the last few years, you’ll be well aware that the next entry of Rockstar Games’ iconic Grand Theft Auto series is on the way later in 2026. That’s, of course, if it doesn't suffer yet another release date delay, which is always a possibility.
It feels like every other day, we’re hearing news of the third GTA VI trailer dropping imminently, with pre-orders going live for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. However, the only updates we seem to be getting from Rockstar Games are related to GTA Online and Red Dead Online. But, it’ll happen any day now, right?
That being said, whenever GTA VI trailer three drops and pre-orders go live, it’s fair to say that fans are incredibly hyped for its arrival, so much so that one eager gamer has already left a glowing review, of sorts.
Wait, Can We Review and Install GTA VI Right Now?
“Who gave [GTA VI] a 5-star rating?” asked Redditor KingToqd, sharing a screenshot of the Xbox mobile app.
Advert
“John Rockstar,” replied WakifRajin.
“It's me, sorry,” declared No-Construction6955, who may or may not be joking. Though, to be fair, a lot of Redditors are making the same claim.
“Wait a minute..... Install?” spotted chris_pjk. For the record, no, you can’t install GTA VI right now.
What’s the Story of GTA VI?
“Vice City, USA. Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them,” reads the synopsis of GTA VI. “But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”
When Will the GTA VI Trailer Three and Pre-Orders Drop?
At this time, we don’t know. It seems that the Best Buy leak from last week was a total dud. However, I firmly believe there’s no smoke without fire, and it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Rockstar Games has delayed an intended reveal following those apparent leaks. Only time will tell.
For now, at least, Grand Theft Auto VI will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 19 November 2026. Its PC port hasn't been officially announced yet.
