Grand Theft Auto fans are hyped over leaks related to the police chases we're due to experience in GTA VI.

Following years of rumours and leaks, Rockstar Games finally revealed the first trailer for GTA VI in December 2023, along with a vague 2025 launch window. Now, 16 months (and counting) later, fans are not only eager for a second GTA VI trailer but also a confirmed release date.

Check out the GTA VI trailer below!

There’s a good chance that Rockstar Games will shadow drop the next trailer and release date for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto title, so in the meantime, we’re going to have to rely on rumours and alleged leaks for GTA VI a little longer.

Reddit user Dezzy25 collected tons of data from the aforementioned leaks that took place several years ago and posted them in a forum for fellow GTA fans to discuss. Out of all the details in said list, it's the “time until cops dispatched/cops arriving” one that was a hot topic of discussion.

“I’m hoping this means police don’t just spawn in the middle of nowhere and actually have to drive from their location to yours,” replied a Reddit member. “In GTA V, police cars literally spawn in the middle of a desert or mountain.”

“Nooo, that's a little too realistic, driving all the way from somewhere else?” exclaimed another Reddit user. “It doesn't matter that they spawn out of nowhere because realistically you aren't going to see them spawn.”

“The police are everywhere, and they likely wouldn’t have to travel far to begin with,” replied a user on the thread. “Also, it’s a problem if they spawn, even if you can’t see them. It breaks immersion. How are police suddenly at the top of Mount Chiliad?”

Whatever this leak means, it's clear that Rockstar is packing this game with details - and we can't wait to get our hands on it.

Grand Theft Auto VI is currently confirmed to release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. We’ll keep you posted when Rockstar Games drops new information.
