GTA VI fans are once again marking their calendars; this time though, they might be right to do so.
It’s been a bit of a running gag that Grand Theft Auto fans see either Rockstar Games or its parent company Take-Two do literally anything and assume it has something to do with GTA VI.
The hype has been unreal, arguably more so than for any video game product in history.
Even things as simple as an earnings call send a wave of excitement through the various GTA threads and subreddits, often yielding nothing at all.

While the announcement that Borderlands 4 will have its release date brought forward two weeks does imply GTA VI will launch shortly after, there’s still not enough to go off at the time of writing.
But while you wait, there’s another GTA release to be excited about, a mod for GTA V that’ll completely change your game.
Titled the GTA V Enhanced 'NaturalVision Enhanced' mod, it’s an add-on that let’s players on PC fine-tune their overworld experience and really push the boundary of Rockstar’s engine.
The mod will be released on 15 May, and won’t be one to miss if you’re a PC player, especially those who want a sneaky look at what GTA VI could look like when it drops, graphically I mean.

We know GTA VI will be far more technologically advanced than GTA V in multiple ways but the lighting and how the world itself is constructed will be two of the big changes, and ones we can’t wait to see with our own eyes.
If Borderlands 4 and its release date are anything to go off, it’s believed GTA VI will launch sometime in October 2025.
Given how that’s not ages away, it’d make sense to see marketing for the game kick-off over the summer, so keep an eye on those Rockstar Games channels.
Take-Two's next earnings call happens to also fall on 15 May so who knows? It could be a double whammy day if we do receive an update.
