GTA 6 map leak points to a truly massive open world

Using some details found in September's colossal GTA VI leak, fans may have worked out the size of the game's map.

Oh boy, GTA VI. Despite us still not having an actual trailer for the next game in the Grand Theft Auto series, it’s safe to say that we know significantly more about it than Rockstar would like us to, thanks to the colossal leak that surfaced online last month. The leak seemingly confirmed both the protagonists for the game, as well as the location being Vice City.

As if we weren’t given enough information from the leaks themselves, as reported by GamesRadar+, one Reddit user has taken things a stage further in an attempt to figure out just how big the game is going to be. Using some coordinates discovered in the leak, alongside those for GTA V’s Los Santos, ChurchofGTA has mapped out what could be the scale of GTA VI’s map, and it’s enormous.

While you're here, be sure to take a look at some hilarious GTA V wins and fails below.

Before you take a look at it though, just keep in mind that even though last month’s leak was confirmed to be real, things like the map size could still be subject to change. The footage that surfaced was early in development, so things like this could also face alterations before the game actually comes out. Disclaimers aside, though, just look at this absolute chungus.

Earlier this year (and completely separately to the confirmed real leak), an insider claimed that there are plans to add even more cities to GTA VI post launch. It’s not currently known if that’s true, and if it is, whether those cities were already accounted for in the leaked map coordinates, but if not, the game could get even bigger, which is pretty wild.

Anyway, hopefully it’s not too long before we get an official reveal, so we can see the whole title in all its glory.
