GTA VI fans are marking their calendars for next week in the hope that Rockstar Games will have something big to reveal.

Ah ****, here we go again. It’s another round of speculation related to the next entry in Rockstar Games’ ever-popular Grand Theft Auto series, with fans hoping that something is cooking up behind the scenes.

Following months of gameplay leaks, taken from a very early build of GTA VI, Rockstar Games finally released the first highly anticipated trailer, albeit with no actual gameplay.

Fans then had to wait patiently for the second GTA VI trailer, which not only gave us a better indication of its story but also how the game might play. Now, fans are eagerly waiting for Rockstar Games to drop trailer three.

At this time, we have no idea when GTA VI trailer three will be released, at least officially. However, fans are hoping for a small chance of it happening soon, following a shareholder meeting next week.

“Next Take-Two Interactive shareholder meeting is scheduled for 18 September, probably minimal GTA VI talk again,” tweeted rockstationonx. “Most likely to be the last meeting before we get official info from Rockstar Games.”

“To clarify, this is the shareholder meeting, not the earnings call! - strictly business,” they added in a follow-up tweet.

Sure, there’s a good chance nothing publicly will come from this meeting, but most likely GTA VI will be discussed internally, and as a result, conversations could take place as to when the third trailer might drop.

At the very least, the shareholder meeting could trigger digital pre-orders for the game going live and maybe even the expected Collector’s Edition, if I were to take a guess.

“I hope they say something about GTA VI or Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, and Switch 2,” replied KingSmoothe20.

“Soooo, the next earnings call will be scheduled in November?” suggested abdoulatif1111. “If so, we’re 100% getting pre-orders and trailer three before that (hopefully).”

“I think the November earnings call will tell us a lot cause I could see pre-orders happening right before that call,” said Kylerm146110M.

At the time of writing, GTA VI is scheduled to be released on 26 May 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. That’s assuming it doesn't get delayed.

As always, we’ll provide an update once information drops regarding Grand Theft Auto VI, such as its yet-to-be-announced PC release.
