GTA VI fans are marking their calendars once more, in the hope that the elusive trailer three will finally drop this month.
Not for the first time in recent months, gamers are hoping that Rockstar Games will release the highly anticipated third trailer for the next entry in its legendary Grand Theft Auto series.
Following months of leaks and rumours, Rockstar Games released the first trailer for GTA VI in December 2023, with a tentative 2025 release window. Then, GTA VI trailer two was released in May 2025.
However, since its initial reveal, GTA VI has been delayed more than once, and it’s been nearly a year since its last trailer. But fans are hoping that the next big drop is around the next corner.
“Today marks the beginning of Take-Two’s new fiscal year, led by GTA VI’s release on November 19, with Rockstar’s launch marketing set to begin this Summer,” tweeted GTAVI_Countdown. “Take-Two previously confirmed it will share its initial outlook for this fiscal year in next month’s earnings call.”

As the Twitter account alluded to, despite Rockstar Games' parent company, Take-Two Interactive, teasing new information for its new fiscal year, which began on 1 April 2026, it’s probably unlikely that the third GTA VI trailer will drop this month.
It’s been the plan that a big marketing campaign will begin for GTA VI in the summer, and the summer doesn't begin until June. But that’s not to say that news won’t drop this month, because at the very least, Take-Two Interactive or Rockstar Games could announce when to expect a new reveal.
“Hopefully, we hear something around the next earnings call in May,” replied GameMediaReal.
“There are still eight months ahead and a lot of content,” reminded JasonDuval_mood of the GTA VI launch later this year.
“We got the first human expedition to the Moon since 1972 before GTA VI, " joked GTAVI_Countdown.
Of course, as soon as new information or a trailer drops for GTA VI, we’ll be sure to let you know right away.
At the time of writing, Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 19 November 2026. The PC port hasn't been announced yet.
