Those GTA VI leaks from 2022 are very hard to find nowadays since Rockstar Games had them removed from the internet, but those that do still have access to the materials are still talking about them.
The leaked gameplay, code, and screenshots were all rough works-in-progress more than anything, so there’s a good chance the finished GTA VI product will be completely different, for instance some features may have been cut out entirely.
Nevertheless, it was our best look at the game before the trailer dropped, and even then, the trailer was pretty low on actual gameplay footage.
Reddit user Veriac, who claims to have recently rewatched the leaked gameplay, has reminded fans of some of the content featured and details they noticed that’ll likely make GTA VI Game Of The Year material.

There's far too much for me to recount here, but the standout features are that they noticed more realistic physics, a new AI for police and police chases, as well as a new car damage system.
Despite being unfinished, the footage was reportedly very impressive, and we can’t wait to see how it all works in the finished product.
That’s not all that fans may have missed, however, as one of the comments pointed out that “some types of cloth have a transparent effect” in the game.
They went on to add that in the first trailer with the woman interrogating Lucia in prison, “You can see the top she's wearing beneath her sweater because the sunlight shines slightly through her clothing.”

Another user added, “The sound of the guns are also much more realistic and serious-sounding compared to V.”
It all sounds like a big improvement over the last game, which is saying something as GTA V was just as impressive when it first released as GTA VI will be soon.
We’re still on track for that late 2025 release date, so it won’t be long before we see more gameplay and eventually welcome the game’s launch.
