Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to be one of the biggest games of all time, and fans are imagining all the possibilities it could bring.
Judging from Rockstar Games’ previous titles like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, it appears as though GTA 6 will also have a similar number of hidden details and small gameplay features to find.
One particular detail that fans are torn on is the number of buildings that will be enterable, and it’s causing a bit of confusion in the community.
A leak from last week suggested that around 67% of buildings in GTA 6 would be able to be entered, which is a considerable amount.

At face value, it seems pretty obvious that this won’t be the case.
However, some fans who believe the rumour have taken it upon themselves to prove how it might be true.

“Enterable can just mean things like apartment/hotel lobbies or motel hallways or condo rooftops accessible through elevators or even just a garage on the side of a locked out house,” reads one comment on the GTA 6 Reddit page, which quite a few other comments appear to agree with. “So even though 70% is ridiculous, a high amount of interiors isn’t out of the question.”
“I don’t really need every building or even most of the buildings enterable,” another comment reads. “I just want the cool ones. If I see a huge mall or casino hell yeah I wanna go in there.”
“Cool as that would be, what purpose would it serve to enter that many buildings?” a third comment reads.
For context, there were around 47 out of several thousand enterable buildings in GTA 5. There were significantly more playable building interiors in Red Dead Redemption 2, but that game also didn’t simulate a huge sprawling metropolis with high-rise buildings.

If you ask me, only being able to enter a building lobby or small room seems rather pointless, and a waste of resources. I’d rather Rockstar spent its time on locations and gameplay features that are going to have a bit more importance.
