GTA VI fans have decided to finally get to the bottom of the sickness at the core of America, because they’re currently debating the likelihood of Rockstar Games implementing lore-accurate Floridian strip clubs.
The Grand Theft Auto franchise has always pushed the boundaries of the video game rating system.
Rockstar Games has run numerous dramas and legal mishaps over the years, the most notable of which was probably the whole Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas “Hot Coffee” debacle, which, personally, always seemed kind of unfair.
The GTA games have never been the worst, by any stretch of the imagination, when it comes to featuring adult content, yet the franchise always seems to be singled out for it.

Perhaps the important distinction to make here is that while GTA is never the worst offender when it comes to x-rated content in video games, the series is, inarguably, the most popular R-rated video game franchise (which probably goes some way to explaining why they’re always enemy number one).
Much in the same way that they were following the lead up to GTA V, fans are now concerned that Grand Theft Auto VI is going to be toned down (at least where the strip clubs are concerned) in a bid to placate more conservative audiences.
“Depends if they want the game to be s**t on or not, wtf kinda strip club doesn’t show nudity I can hear the uproar if game is censored,” commented user Jaugusts.
“What kind of adult is asking to not see nipples in a mature game part of a franchise known for its sexual themes??” replied user Relevant_Mail_1292.

“Besides the adult themes, GTA VI is going to be a cultural and political clusterf**k with conservatives decrying it's absence of morals, apparent wokeness, and making themselves out to be a victim....all without a hint of irony. I'm getting my popcorn ready,” commented user dubhd.
The funny thing is, a lot of people are making fun of the poster who asked that question, but I think it’s a legitimate concern.
Well, I mean, I’m not saying I’m concerned I won’t be able to see boobs– more so that I’m concerned that Rockstar Games might cave and alter the game, following pressure from right-leaning groups.
Five years ago, I would have said that we’ve grown as a society, and that stuff like a bit of topless nudity isn’t enough to faze us anymore.

However, the past year has been an odd one. Valve was just forced to remove specific R-rated content on Steam, and UK age verification laws are currently doing everything in their power to censor the internet.
I mean for christ sake, you know the Reddit thread those comments above are linked from? You can’t even access that thread in the United Kingdom if you don’t verify your age on Reddit. Do you see any nudity on that page? Because I sure as hell don’t.
All I’m saying is… the concern has some factual basis. Don’t be surprised if you have to verify your age in GTA VI to access the sexy clubs, because there’s already precedent for it.
