Invincible VS, the upcoming fighting game based on the Invincible animated series, has announced an upcoming free beta for players to participate in.
Skybound Games will run a free open beta for Invincible VS in April for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S users.
However, the beta will be skipping PC due to fears that users could datamine the beta and find content that has yet to be revealed.
When Will The Invincible VS Open Beta Be Available?
The open beta for Invincible VS will go live on 9 April at 10AM PT and will run until 11 April at 9AM PT, giving you a couple of days to check the game out and decide if you want to buy it later in the spring.
Most importantly, it also allows Skybound Games to test network connections and ensure things will run smoothly for the full release.

In Skybound’s own words, the open beta will allow you to “be one of the first to experience 3v3 tag combat with 10 fighters and 6 arenas.”

The characters included in the open beta are Invincible, Omni-Man, Allen the Alien, Atom Eve, Bulletproof, Battle Beast, Thula, Robot, Rex Splode, and Monster Girl.
In the full game, that roster will be expanded to 18 characters, also including the likes of Ella Mental, Anissa, and Powerplex.
To download the open beta when it launches, head to your preferred console store (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S), then download the Invincible VS Open Beta and play during the beta period.
While the game is available on both PlayStation and Xbox, there is no crossplay available between both platforms.
“Invincible VS is a brutal superhero 3v3 tag fighting game set in the Invincible universe, where you can battle to the death as a team of fan-favorite characters in iconic locations,” reads the blurb on Invincible VS.
“Unleash bone-breaking combos through fast combat and smart defensive tactics to leave a trail of blood and destruction. Land vicious Super moves and Ultimates to leave your opponents in a mess of blood.”
