Free PS5 DLC Available For AAA Release, No PS Plus Required

PS5 users can now download some free DLC for Saros, available via PlayStation Network.
Saros is the latest first-party game from PlayStation Studios and Housemarque, intended as a spiritual successor to 2021’s Returnal.
To celebrate the launch, Sony has released some free content that PlayStation users can now pick up as they continue their playthrough.
This new release includes a set of exclusive avatars that you can use on your PS5 profile, completely free of charge. They’re freely available for you to grab, and can be sported on your PSN profile for others to see.

The avatars include Arjun Devraj, the protagonist of Saros played by Rahul Kohli, as well as five of the game’s bosses.
To claim your free Saros avatars, you’ll need to head to the game’s page on the official PlayStation website. Make sure you’re doing that in a web browser, and are signed into your PlayStation account.
From here, you’ll spot a button on the right-hand side of the screen which says “Call the Eclipse”. If you press it, you’ll be taken to a new page.
Scroll down, and you’ll find a redeemable code. Copy it, and then head to the Redeem Code section of the PlayStation website. You can do this by clicking on your avatar at the top of the navigation bar.
Enter the code on the Redeem Code page and you’ll be able to claim your Saros avatar pack.
Be aware that you can only redeem the code that corresponds to your own region, so using an America code on a UK account will not work.

Saros was released exclusively for PlayStation 5 last week, and is on track to be one of the highest-rated games of the year so far.
Developed by Housemarque, it's an action game that combines bullet hell, roguelite, and third-person shooter similar to the studio's previous game, Returnal.
