Yes, we’re all awaiting an update on Grand Theft Auto VI, but Rockstar Games isn’t quite done with GTA Online just yet, the ever-popular online component to GTA V.

A new update has landed for the game, although I do just want to fill you in on the latest GTA VI theory before I dive into that.

Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, is due to hold its next earnings call on 6 February.

Almost every single major Rockstar release had its release date confirmed in January ahead of the annual February earnings call, with Bully, Max Payne 3, GTA IV, and GTA V all fitting that criteria.

Could GTA VI follow suit? It’s very much possible, but let’s hop back to what you can now get up to in GTA Online.

‘The Brute Force File’ is the game’s latest free downloadable update, offering new missions and rewards.

One day, I’ll be able to drop in GTA VI’s second trailer, but not today.

‘The Brute Force File’ will task GTA Online players with sneaking into the notorious Fort Zancudo base, eventually making a break for it via a Scarab tank.

That’s not exactly what I’d call a subtle escape.

The latest Priority File will offer an increased GTA$ payout, whilst all FIB Files from ‘Agents of Sabotage’ will feature optional mission challenges that’ll earn you additional bonus GTA$ and Career Progress.

In addition to that, if you finish any three FIB Files and complete the new weekly challenges, you’ll secure a whopping GTA$100,000.

The Black Box File specifically concerns sneaking onto a Merryweather barge, a task that’ll garner you the Merryweather Hoodie as a reward.

If you fancy completing a few Payphone Hits this week, expect to earn double GTA$ and RP, as can those who participate in Overtime Rumble.

Yearning to hear what’s new on the vehicle front? Premium Deluxe Motorsport is welcoming the following: Pegassi Esskey (Motorcycle), Vapid Hustler (Muscle, 50% off), Western Wolfsbane (Motorcycle), Gallivanter Baller LE (SUV, 50% off), and LCC Hexer (Motorcycle).

Of course, as with all GTA Online updates, players will be able to benefit from plenty of discounts, all of which you can read about in the update’s full patch notes.

Once again, Rockstar has delivered a solid update packed with content.
