It’s not unusual for many to dismiss free games that don’t come from major publishers.
There’s this prejudiced notion that if something is free, it’s unlikely to be any good.
That’s certainly not true.
We’re all well aware that it’s indie devs who often have the most exciting ideas, and making an indie game free is oftentimes just a small project’s way of being seen.

Marketing an indie can be tough, but making it free can be one way to get it on people’s radar.
It’s with all of this in mind that I want to direct your attention to a new visual novel by the name of Monster Girl Manor.
Developed by Xena Alexander and Starlit Studios and published by Monstery Peoplez, it centres around several ‘monster girls’ voiced by up-and-coming voice acting talent: Method Switch, Dream Audio VA, Starlit Audio, Xena Alexander, with Lacey Audayo coming soon.
From what I can tell, you basically befriend and rizz up the various characters.

It’s a simple game, more interested in showcasing its cast than it is in impressing you with its story or gameplay, but you have to admire that goal and ambition.
Despite the simplicity of this one, 95% of players have already awarded it a positive review.
“I had a wonderful time and love the characters. The VAs did a fantastic job! Looking forward to future updates,” said one player.
“Enjoyed the different personality and lore that's already there for each individual character. Found the character expressions very fun and engaging and am really looking forward to more being added for each character / more characters added,” wrote another.

“An amazing visual novel with beautiful monster girls voiced by wonderful and lovely ladies,” added a reviewer.
You get the idea.
It’s not going to be for everyone but for those who love visual novels, it sounds as if you’ll quickly fall in love with the world that Monster Girl Manor has to offer.
With new characters set to be added too, there looks to be plenty of content on the way to keep you busy.

It’s free, as I said, as long as you have access to Steam.
