GTA: Vice City’s The Backstabber’s Blues Modpack Drops Trailer
In a new trailer shared by modpack creator Northstar Games, players are transported back in time. The rough graphics of GTA: Vice City give the game a retro vibe that fits the 80s setting perfectly.
The trailer comes with an announcement that the modpack is still in development, but that the first chapter is now available to download via Liberty City. The mod pack adds a full story set in Vice City, where players take on the role of Lance, a character from the original Vice City plotline.
The mod adds an entire 12-mission story around Lance, allowing players to interact with iconic characters from the original release in new ways. The mod pack acts as a whole new game that uses Vice City as a base.
Fans in the comments of the trailer are excited to dive back into GTA: Vice City. After several delays for GTA 6, many have been eager to get more of the franchise without replaying old storylines. This is where mods can make a big difference.
With future chapters of “The Backstabber’s Blues” in the works, GTA fans will have plenty to do as they dive back into Vice City and explore a classic storyline from the franchise.
