GTA 6 Fans Are Now Debating The Size Of The Moon, Good Lord

Please give us something, Rockstar.

If you wanted to find out what the lack of any new trailers or information does to a person, I recommend looking at the Grand Theft Auto VI Reddit page.

When we get to May, it’ll have been a whole year since we last got any solid information on GTA VI, the latest release from Rockstar Games. All we’ve really had since then is the announcement of a delay in November.

It’s set to be one of the biggest games of all time, with everyone and their grandmas at the very least curious to see just what the fuss is all about.

But considering how long it’s been since we last got a trailer, or screenshots, or even a crumb of information, it’s got fans speculating and debating on all sorts of weird things about the game.

For example, if you head over to the GTA VI Reddit page, you’ll find fans are now debating what size the moon in the game will be.

In GTA V, the moon was rather unrealistically large. Not hugely so that it’d be a distraction, but large enough that you might go “huh?” if you noticed it.

Meanwhile, in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the moon had quite a fun easter egg where if you shot it while zoomed in with a sniper rifle, its size would increase several times.

“Do yall want the moon in gta 6 to be oversized like it is in gta v, or a more normal realistic size?” reads the post in question.

“As long as it realistically appears in relation to where the sun is which doesnt occur in V,” reads one comment in the replies.

“I don’t care if it is oversized or not as long as there is a good spot for me to drive to and just look at it I’ll be happy,” reads another.

However, some fans are clearly quite sick of these types of questions, feeling that the subreddit has become so bored waiting for new GTA VI information that it has resorted to these kinds of posts ad infinitum.

“This sub comes up with the most ridiculous questions,” reads a reply.

“Christ this sub is bored. This game needs to be released asap so we can stop having these absolutely pointless posts,” reads another.

I think we’re inclined to agree there. GTA VI isn’t due to release until 19 November, so that means potentially nine more months of these kinds of posts unless Rockstar decides to drop a new trailer soon.
