Those who missed out on Far Cry 6 back in 2021 need not worry as this free download courtesy of Ubisoft will have you diving into the FPS in no time.
Released in 2021 as the sixth main instalment in the long-running Far Cry series, Far Cry 6 took the franchise to a fictional Caribbean island ruled as a dictatorship by "El Presidente" Antón Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito).

Players will take on the role of guerilla fighter Dani Rojas who attempts to overthrow Castillo and his regime. Using over-the-top guerilla tactics and weaponry, you must do what it takes to liberate your nation despite being under the watchful eye of Castillo and his son, Diego.
Although it is by no means a master of storytelling, fans still had an overall fun time playing Far Cry 6 which makes this free download all the more worth it if you want to spend some hours liberating, hunting, killing and free-running.
Courtesy of developers Ubisoft, players can get a taste of Far Cry 6 by downloading its free trial right now.

The trial gives access to the first few missions of the main storyline and can be accessed directly from your platform’s store. The platforms in question are: Epic Games Launcher, PlayStation 4. PlayStation 5, Ubisoft Connect PC, Xbox One and the Xbox Series X|S.
Additionally, any progress you make can be carried along to the full game if you choose to purchase it. Just make sure you save and upload the data beforehand.
