Fallout fans hyped as surprise new RPG smashes sales records

Who saw that coming?

We already knew that the Fallout series is one of the most beloved in the RPG genre, especially following the recent success of its Prime Video adaptation.

However, the latest Fallout project has beat all expectations as it becomes the fastest game ever redeemed on GOG.

Check out the official announcement trailer for Fallout: London below!

As you can probably guess, it is Fallout: London, a non-official entry in the Fallout series which takes the post-apocalyptic setting outside of the U.S. for the first time.

Developed over the course of five years by Team Folon, the entry was finally released to the public last month and has been met with critical success.

The full conversion mod for Fallout 4 takes place in an irradiated London. As such, the official synopsis reads:

“From stuffy parliamentary aristocrats to a resurrection of the Knights of the Round Table to an uncompromising cult of revolutionaries (and more!), Fallout: London embodies the history and aesthetics of London and puts an unmistakably nuclear spin on the beloved city.”

Now according to GOG, the platform Fallout: London is available to download for free on, “the mod was redeemed more than 500,000 times, making it the fastest redeemed game on GOG ever.”

Not only that but those numbers were hit in the first 24 hours!

What is even more impressive is that GOG is home to titles such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077 and none managed to hit the numbers Fallout: London managed.

It is worth noting that GOG is the only place players can officially download the DLC-size expansion but these are still impressive numbers considering Bethesda had no part in its development.

It is clear that fans are desperate for more Fallout but with Fallout 5 not expected to release for the next few years, we should thank Team Folon for this incredible (and free) expansion.
