The latest Fallout game, not made by Bethesda, has surpassed one million downloads, and you need to play it before Fallout 5 comes out.

When will Fallout 5 come out? We have no idea, but rumours say it’s being fast-tracked by Xbox in an attempt to capitalise on all the new fans generated from the Amazon Prime show.

See the trailer for the Fallout series below.

Take that with a pinch of salt though, as it’s not as simple as just Bethesda dropping what it’s currently doing and pivoting to Fallout instead. It’s not feasibly possible given the developer is all-hands-on-deck putting together The Elder Scrolls VI.

While they’re figuring everything out though, you can play a new Fallout adventure, joining the one million people already playing it.

Fallout: London is a fan-made game that could have fooled us, as the quality is that of a fully-funded AAA game.

As the name implies, it’s a Fallout game set in the UK, something the main series has never dared to do before.

It’s got everything you’d want, an open-world to explore, unique factions to fight or join, new weapons, loads of side quests and much more.

If you haven’t played it yet, you need to fix that as soon as possible, but you will require a PC to get the ball rolling as Xbox and PlayStation users cannot download the mod to their games.

Maybe that will change in the future but I wouldn’t hold your breath. If you primarily play on PC though, it’s happy days. You can start your playthrough today with the quick and easy download.

If anything, it’ll kill some time before the next Fallout game comes, as it’s starting to look like we won’t even get close to one until 2027 or 2028.

Again, that could change if Xbox is actively pushing to get it out sooner, but it’ll have to be handed to a different developer to make it happen. Fallout New Vegas 2, anyone?
