Bethesda fans have roasted the subtle announcement that Fallout 5 is on the way.

Ok, we all know that Fallout 5 is coming without the word of Bethesda's head honcho, Todd Howard. However, it’s still nice to get some form of official confirmation nonetheless, no matter how vague.

Check out the Fallout 4 trailer below!

Sadly, at this stage, we have no idea when Fallout 5 will arrive. It might be safe to assume that it could be a next-gen title but even that’s no guarantee.

The best indication of when Fallout 5 will arrive is that it will release date after The Elder Scrolls VI. Oh, and we have no idea when the next game in the Elder Scrolls series will launch either, as that’s seemingly a next-gen title at best too.

Worst still, The Elder Scrolls VI was revealed at E3 2018 and over six years later, we have no gameplay or platforms, let alone a release date. So it’s anyone’s guess as to when Fallout 5 will grace us with its post-apocalyptic presence.

With that in mind, fans are roasting Todd Howard for announcing that Fallout 5 will be released after The Elder Scrolls VI. “I'll buy it for my child's graduation,” exclaimed t_bonium119. “They haven't been born or even started gestating yet.”

“I'll buy it for my son's graduation. I happen to be seven years old, and never once had a conversation with a woman,” L0RD_HEADASS replied.

“I've got my money ready for 23 October 2077, it's gonna be a memorable day I'm sure,” said ninja-robot.

“I'll be turning 55 in August, by the time Fallout 5 releases, I will probably be older than Old Longfellow and need V.A.T.S. just to hit the damned toilet bowl peeing,” revealed MegatonsSon.

Hopefully, we won't all be dead by the time Fallout 5 and The Elder Scrolls VI are released, but again, there are no guarantees.
