It looks like the rumoured Fallout 3 and New Vegas remasters may have just had a big tease, including revealing the studio behind them.
Remasters and remakes of older Fallout games have been teased for years, going all the way back to the big Nvidia GeForce Now leak in 2021.
Since then, there have been a few teases and hints at either Fallout 3 or New Vegas being remastered, which escalated with Bethesda’s success with the Fallout TV series and Oblivion remaster from last year.
It now appears that Iron Galaxy Studios is teasing some kind of Fallout project, this time related to New Vegas.

“Today’s our February company meeting. It’s time to catch up with what the company’s been up to and what’s coming up next for IG,” was posted to the company’s LinkedIn page.
An attached image shows a computer monitor featuring an image saying Please Stand By, which appears on the menu screen for Fallout: New Vegas.
The image has actually been ripped from the game itself, so the connection is made obvious.
This could be a hint at Iron Galaxy’s involvement with the alleged Fallout: New Vegas remaster, and perhaps Fallout 3 too.

Iron Galaxy May Be A Great Fit For A Fallout: New Vegas Remaster
The company has a big portfolio of ports, remasters, and remakes, including support work on The Last of Us Part 1, Metroid Prime Remastered, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
But, if you take a look at its history, you’ll see support work for games going all the way back to 2010. It even has a history with Fallout, having supported development on Fallout 4 VR and Fallout 76.
In addition to porting and support work though, Iron Galaxy also developed Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, its first foray into doing a remake by itself.
The game was reviewed well, gaining an 89% positive reception on OpenCritic, which may have prompted Bethesda to look to working with Iron Galaxy on these Fallout remasters, the same way it worked with Virtuos for last year’s Oblivion remaster.
Still, we’ll take this as a pretty big hint of the project’s existence for now rather than direct confirmation.
I imagine we’ll probably hear more about it at some point this year, especially as production on the third season of Amazon’s Fallout series gets underway.
