With a game as huge as Bethesda’s Fallout 4, it’s understandable that players are still discovering secrets in its glorious yet deadly post-apocalyptic world.

Released in 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Fallout 4 was met with high critical acclaim, scoring as high as 88 on the aggregate website, Metacritic. Recently, Fallout 4 also received its long-awaited free new-gen update which brings improved visuals and performance, but that new update hasnt been well-received by everyone.

Check out the Fallout 4 trailer below!

What’s more, thanks to the success of the live-action Fallout series from Amazon Studios, more players are exploring the wastelands than ever before whether it's Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas or Fallout 4. Whether you’re new or a veteran fan, it’s a great time to be a fan of the Bethesda RPG series.

So with that in mind, Fallout 4 players have been sharing their discoveries on Reddit which includes an alternate quest ending that makes the mission much easier. “What’s something that you didn’t know you could do until way later?” asked Redditor ThatKalosfan.

“Loot as much as you can on the way to the mechanist lair and quickly build a couple of bots to help with the fight,” advised Strange-Outcome491 or “just bypass the fight with high hacker skill,” Poultrygeist74 suggested.

“Also, when you’re in the first factory area, where the bots are going on belts above your head, I camp out there and shoot all of them,” replied YoSaffBridge11. “Then there are far fewer bots that make it to the big fight.”

So there you have it, if you want to make that dreaded Automatron quest a lot easier, heed the wise words of the Redditor wasteland explorers above.

Fallout 4 is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It’s also available to subscribers of PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium and Xbox Game Pass at no extra cost.
