News and updates around The Elder Scrolls VI have been few and far between, with the very brief announcement trailer still the only thing we have to go on (and that dropped all the way back in 2018).
Since then, expectant fans have been searching for tiny morsels of information to try and pin down exactly what's going on with the game and what it might all be about when it finally does arrive.
As first reported by ComicBook, Bethesda has now hired experienced BioWare writer John Dombrow, presumably to work on The Elder Scrolls VI, and maybe even Fallout 5 after that.
BioWare's recent track has been a little more mixed than their storied earlier days, but Dombrow's credentials should give significant confidence to the fans waiting in the wings.

Most recently he worked on Dragon Age: The Veilguard, where he was in charge of nailing one of the game's best characters, Davrim. He also worked on Mass Effect: Andromeda, Mass Effect 3 and Anthem, as well as potential genre GOAT Mass Effect 2.
He was actually briefly at Sucker Punch Productions after BioWare, where he worked on the highly anticipated Ghost of Yotei before moving on to Bethesda in the last few days.
Dombrow has taken on the role of senior quest designer, but it's currently unclear what he'll be working on, with so much secrecy around the game, as well as how much of his writing we'll see in the final product.
With so little still to go on, The Elder Scrolls VI is presumably still a very long way from actually being properly revealed, let alone released. If it ends up having anything like the longevity and quality of Skyrim when it does, however, then we're all in for a very good time when we do finally get our hands on it.
