Dr Disrespect claims he's releasing song with 'Drake and The Weeknd', confusing fans

Dr Disrespect recently tweeted that he "recorded a new song" with Drake and The Weeknd, sparking confusion.

Herschel ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm IV may be best known for being a prominent Call of Duty streamer, but that's not all that he gets up to behind the big sunglasses.

In case you were unaware, Beahm co-founded a game studio called Midnight Society, which is currently working on the first-person vertical extractor shooter Deadrop. After the streamer set lofty expectations for the game (having previously claimed that the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II couldn’t match up to an in-game screenshot of Deadrop at the time), many have been critical of the pre-alpha build which was recently released.

Take a look at some of the funniest streaming wins and fails below.

Even though his studio remains hard at work bringing Deadrop to life, Dr Disrespect still streams regularly. As Dexerto reports, a tweet which he posted yesterday to announce him going live on YouTube also made reference to a baffling music collaboration, which fans immediately branded as “confusing”.

“LIVE in 30 minutes,” Beahm tweeted. “Just recorded a new song alongside Drake and [The Weeknd] so I'm feeling good today.”

For context, an AI-generated song has been going viral on TikTok recently, which basically sounds like a collab between The Weeknd and Drake. It seems that Dr Disrespect was more than likely making reference to this - although maybe he's planning on trying to generate something using AI too.

Even so, fans still seem hyped about whatever it is: “Yes I’m ready to hear Doc’s sweet tender voice,” @KcE_CHUNGUUS tweeted. “Do we get to [hear] this new song?” @DaggergtFPV asked.

A couple of years ago, Dr Disrespect starred in a music video/advertisement for Mtn Dew Game Fuel, in which he sang throughout. So, if he somehow did manage to land a real collab with either of the two aforementioned artists, it wouldn’t be his first step into the world of music.
