Cyberpunk 2077 player finds secret path devs snuck in during updates

Cyberpunk 2077 players have discovered a hidden path you’re not supposed to have access to, and it’s pretty cool.

While we look forward to the next game on CD Projekt RED’s release schedule, The Witcher 4, many are still playing Cyberpunk 2077 in the meantime.

Check out Cyberpunk 2077 below.

It’s only natural as it’s a damn fine game, and one that’s infinitely replayable with all of the different characters, side quests, and paths to take.

However, there are some paths that you’re possibly not aware of, but with a bit of know-how, you can access them and reap the rewards they offer.

One such path was found and shared by someone on Reddit, who located “an official route to return to the Konpeki Plaza so you can get the Iguana Egg and Satori Katana if you missed them the first time around”.

The Iguana Egg and Katana are rewards from a quest, but if you didn’t pick them up the first time around, the game can give the impression you’ve lost your chance forever.

The post shared a video showing you how to access the path back to the plaza, so if you’ve done the quest but didn’t collect the items, this is how you can grab them.

Side quests aside, what this really shows is CD Projekt RED's attention to detail and forward-thinking when crafting the game world.

While it suffered from severe performance issues upon its initial release, no one can now deny that Night City is a perfect backdrop to a video game - and exploring its streets, alleys, and rooftops is a real treat for those who love open-world exploration.

The only thing the game is missing is the option to traverse the map by air, as looking up and seeing all the flying vehicles only to not have the option to use one is still a bit of a let-down.
