Just when you thought the Cyberpunk 2077 developers could do no more, it seems as though the much-loved RPG still has a lot more to offer.

Despite speeding towards its fourth anniversary, Cyberpunk 2077 is still very much enjoying its resurgence after a large update and Phantom Liberty DLC saw it shoot to the top of the Steam charts at the end of 2023.

With many players experiencing it for the first time now that the title is in its best state, it is no wonder that many more Easter eggs, secrets and features are being discovered.

This news comes after CD Projekt Red quest designer Maria Mazur recently spoke to GamesRadar+ about the amount of Easter eggs that are actually hidden within the world of Cyberpunk 2077.

"I feel like there are so many Easter eggs, I'm just waiting for people to find them all,” Mazur said.

One in particular the dev spoke about was one added to the Phantom Liberty expansion so is still undiscovered by a large majority of players.

The Easter egg can be found at the bottom of the ocean which, if you have played Cyberpunk 2077, is not somewhere you tend to spend a lot of time. However, Mazur believed people would eventually end up there and so designed “a scenario with dialogue” for when the time comes.

"Someone drove the main character into the ocean. And I actually had this secured just in case" she said, "I weaved in a scenario with dialog and stuff. So I was happy to see that someone actually did that."

Mazur also shared how meaningful the moments of discovery are. She shared: "I think those moments are kind of precious. When you're trying to anticipate someone's actions, and you're leaving this little surprise for someone, and then finally, years later, you can see that they actually found it."

With the team revealing that there are still Easter eggs to be found, it is time to boot up Cyberpunk 2077 and get searching.
