If you are eager to return to Night City and immerse yourself in its mind-bending lore, then this brand-new Cyberpunk 2077 inspired release is guaranteed to capture your attention.

Despite a less-than-smooth start, Cyberpunk 2077 has finally cemented itself as one of the best RPGs of all time, thanks to its incredible setting, morally ambiguous characters and fun gameplay.

Check out the next-gen update launch trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 below!

With its Phantom Liberty DLC taking 2023 by storm and its latest 2.2 update adding even more content, Cyberpunk 2077 is as popular as ever and this upcoming release has fans excited.

Cyberpunk 2077: Psycho Squad is an upcoming four-part comic book series centered around Night City’s formidable force, MaxTac.

If you have played the game, you will know that MaxTac is a pretty big (and deadly) team but this will be the first time that fans can learn even more about them.

Published by Dark Horse Comics in collaboration with CD Projekt RED, Psycho Squad is written by Dan Watters with art from Kieran McKeown, Giada Marchisio and Frank Cvetkovic.

“MaxTac, one of the deadliest and most controversial forces in Night City, is deployed against a corpo netrunner turned cyberpsycho,” the official synopsis reads.

“The squad’s mission is to eliminate the target and save lives as long as nothing goes wrong. But with the building on lockdown, the psycho has the facilities and its occupants wired for destruction!”

This is by no means the first Cyberpunk 2077 inspired comic book by Dark Horse Comics but the first volume in Cyberpunk 2077: Psycho Squad will be released on 12 February.

Available at $3.99, its pre-orders are now live and you can find its official art and various covers on the Dark Horse website.

In the meantime, CD Projekt RED is reportedly hard at work on Cyberpunk 2, as well as The Witcher 4, but it could be quite a while before we see the former.

As a result, we don’t yet know any details but if Cyberpunk 2077 is anything to go by, it will be one hell of an adventure.
