A new graphics overhaul for Cyberpunk 2077 has stunned fans, with some calling it “gorgeous”.
Cyberpunk 2077 came out back in 2020, just after the release of the current-generation PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
These consoles were a massive upgrade from the previous generation, which helped CD Projekt Red to make Night City such a gorgeous, detailed location. Especially when you activate ray-tracing.

Even though Cyberpunk 2077 already looks incredible on the current patch, we’ve had five years of graphics card improvements since then.
There will always be modders looking to make additional enhancements for extra realism.
A new video uploaded by digital artist and modder Digital Dreams has shown off a new graphics overhaul for Cyberpunk 2077, which some fans are already in love with.

This new mod for the game adds new lighting effects, along with improved reflections, textures, particle effects, and much more to make the game more photorealistic than it was before.
What’s more, it doesn’t grind the game to a halt either. According to Digital Dreams, they’re able to run the game at 8K and 100FPS while the mod is installed.
“Finally a good one,” wrote one reply to the video. “Most so-called realistic mods are overcasted to death.”
“That was gorgeous,” wrote another. “And the soundtrack fit really well.”

If you were hoping to achieve the same level of realism in your game, you’d better have the hardware to support it.
According to the video description, the creator has an RTX 5090 graphics card, as well as a Ryzen 7 9800X processor and 64GB of RAM. So unless you’re boasting those specs, don’t expect it to run well.
Digital Dreams has multiple showcases like this on their channel. It seems the artist is dedicated to squeezing as much juice out of their graphics card as possible.
In addition to Cyberpunk 2077, they also have videos demonstrating graphics overhauls for games like Red Dead Redemption 2, The Witcher 3, and The Last of Us Part 2.

Hopefully, this'll be what Cyberpunk 2 will look like when we see it half a decade from now.
