Cyberpunk 2077: 3 new story quests available to download thanks to fans

Spice up Night City with a string of new quests

Cyberpunk 2077 is a pretty massive game. If you're dead-set on keeping your head down and ploughing through the main story you can probably get through it in about 24 hours, but there's so much more to say.

CD Projekt RED's open-world sci-fi RPG is a thriving dystopia of beautifully written side quests and deadly distractions. Go steal cars, take on jobs for fixers, or just wander around getting into fist fights and drunk texting Judy. The choice is very much yours in Cyberpunk 2077.

Since I reviewed it on PlayStation 5, Cyberpunk 2077 has grown into an incredible game. The weird bugs and broken world have been tweaked and polished to allow us to enjoy Night City for the genuinely fascinating digital metropolis that it is. I went back to the game last year, and I found myself obsessed with simply wandering around and taking on smaller quests that enhanced the world.

Take a look at Phantom Liberty below!

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty - a huge expansion that completely overhauls the base game and adds a ton of new content - launches 26 September. In the unlikely event you've finished with Starfield and Baldur's Gate 3 by this time, that's even more RPG goodness for you to get stuck into. Seriously, 2023 might just be the best year we've ever had for video games.

Anyway, while you wait for Phantom Liberty to drop you can get your hands on three fan-made quests for free, via NexusMods. While I can't imagine these quests are quite as in-depth as the ones we'll be getting in the official expansion, they're certainly worth a look.

The three quests are: Californication, One More Light, and Hot Fuzz. They're not the deepest or longest, but they include a few more interactions with fan-favourite characters like Judy. Speaking of, a romance with Judy is actually a requirement for these particular quests, so they won't be of much use to you if you went and chose someone else in Cyberpunk 2077 like a damn fool.
