CD Projekt RED just cannot leave this one alone, can they?
Not that I’m complaining, I should add. I adore Cyberpunk 2077; the more updates, the better.
And that’s exactly what’s on the way. Our attention may be fully on The Witcher 4 after yesterday’s wild tech demo, but there’s plenty else happening at the moment for developer CD Projekt RED.

If you did miss the tech demo, it provided us with both our first taste of gameplay and a glimpse at The Witcher 4’s enormous open world map.
I should stress that as a tech demo, this is not content actually lifted from The Witcher 4, but it is a technical display set within the game’s world so it won’t be miles away from the end result.
Elsewhere though, CDPR is gearing up to launch Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2, both of which drop tomorrow on 5 June.
Of course, plenty of you may not be interested in playing the game on Nintendo’s new handheld, particularly if you’ve already racked up hundreds of hours on console.

You need not feel left out though, as it’s rumoured that an update may be launching alongside the Switch 2 version for the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC versions.
Rumour perhaps isn’t the right word, as there’s a decent bit of evidence to back up this claim.
You see, Cyberpunk 2077 fans have been combing through the footage of the Switch 2 version of the game, and they’ve found a feature which isn't present in existing versions.
As shared by Reddit user WeirdUncleMike, it looks as if Cyberpunk 2077 is set to add a map ping indicating secret loot.

There’s no good reason as to why the Switch 2 version would get this feature exclusively, hence why many believe a cross-platform update is set to land tomorrow.
Personally, I think it’s incredibly plausible.
After all, CDPR previously employed the help of Virtuos for assistance on the major 2.2 update.
It stands to reason that Virtuos could be leading the way, developing this latest potential update too.

The best part of all of this is that we should get confirmation tomorrow as that’s when Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition lands on Switch 2.
