When you go to the cinema - or movie theatre - I’d imagine you expect to sit there in silence. You may have a chat during the ads but for the most part, going to the cinema is a relatively quiet activity. There are exceptions of course.
Last year saw the masses adopt the ‘Gentleminions’ trend. Oh, you’d wiped that from your mind? Allow me to bring it right back. To celebrate the release of Minions: The Rise of Gru, people started flocking to the cinema in a suit and tie - with some even throwing bananas at the screen. Major event films like Avengers: Endgame can also prompt a bit of excitement. I do recall the cinema erupting when Captain America lifted Mjolinor. The current reception to Creed III though is something else entirely.
Take a look at what happened below.
One set of Creed III fans got so hyped during the film that a mass fight broke out at the cinema which, needless to say, is taking things too far. The altercation took place in France. As the end credits rolled, two people could be seen brawling in the aisle. Several people then tried to break up the fight but honestly I’m not sure it entirely worked. Instead, the cinema aisle just became a rather messy place to be.

As reported by our friends at LADbible, as impressive as Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors’ fighting moves are in the film, it’s not believed that this actually inspired the fight. Instead, one of the people involved was thought to have spent too much of the film on their phone. That’s bound to annoy people - not that you should ever respond in this manner though.
Creed III has been well received. The film has a score of 56 over on Metacritic and 87% on Rotten Tomatoes. Its user score is even higher with fans rating the film 96%. The film sees Creed face off against Damian (played by Majors), a childhood friend of his.
