Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is free to download for very limited time

The Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is free to download for very limited time from the PS5's PlayStation Plus Collection.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a certified classic, even if it is a remaster. It’s one of those game series that is so annoyingly frustrating and yet, you just never seem to give up trying.

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back actually recently celebrated its 25th birthday and I still stand by the opinion that it’s one of the best platformers of all-time. If anyone wants to pop round and complete Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped’s ‘Road Crash’ for me, that would be nice. I’ve been stuck on that level for far too long. We have Crash Team Rumble on the way which offers a premise full of potential but in our experience with the beta, we found definite room for improvement. While we await the full launch though later this summer, some PlayStation Plus users can enjoy the N. Sane Trilogy for free.

Take a look at Crash Team Rumble in action below.

The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is available to grab from the PlayStation Plus Collection for a very limited time. To access the PlayStation Plus Collection, you’ll need to be a PS Plus subscriber with a PS5 console. Essentially, the 19-game collection was set up so that PS5 owners could sample some of the best titles the PS4 had to offer, bringing them up to speed on Sony’s best and brightest. The collection is being phased out though on 9 May.

That means you have just a few days to make the most of it. The good news is that you can download the entirety of the library now, and it’ll remain yours after the collection disappears. Just make sure you select ‘Add to Library’ before 9 May.
