Call Of Duty: Vanguard, better known round these parts as the least popular Call Of Duty game in years, is going free-to-play. For a limited time, anyway.
Activision and Sledgehammer Games' World War II shooter will attempt to lure players back in with an extended free trial that kicks off tomorrow (March 30). The game will be completely free to play for two whole weeks, with the trial ending on April 13.
Take a look at some of the funniest Call Of Duty: Vanguard wins and fails below!
During the two-week trial, players can get access to a large portion (but not all of) Vanguard's multiplayer modes on all platformers. Expect a mix of game modes and maps, with the primary focus being on most of Season 2's new offerings.

The free trial will include new maps Casablanca and Gondola, and grand access to the new Arms Race mode, in which players use vehicles to cross The Alps (Vanguard's largest map) to destroy enemy bases. There'll also be a third playlist that includes objective-based game modes on some of the more popular maps, including Shipment.
Earlier this year, Activision released a frank statement admitting that Modern Warfare, Warzone, and Vanguard are a mess right now. You can't help but wonder if this new trial is an attempt to win lapsed players back and bring some new blood in.
"We wanted to take a minute to talk about fixing the game," Activision wrote in a message to fans on the Call Of Duty Twitter account. "We hear you, and we feel your frustrations.
"Our teams are hard at work addressing the issues that are being experienced across Vanguard, Warzone, and Modern Warfare. Updates are being deployed as quickly as possible. We want everyone to have a seamless experience, no matter which game, game mode, or platform you play on."

Vanguard's sales also saw a marked decline on Black Ops Cold War's, which probably means that this free trial will do the game a world of good. Watch this space.
