Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 free download officially announced

Be quick, as it disappears in less than five days

You can get your hands on some free Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 content right now, but you better be quick as you only have a few days left before it disappears forever.

As revealed over on the official Call of Duty Blog, a “select” amount of both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s multiplayer and Zombies maps are currently available to play free of charge.

However, if you already gave Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 a go during its last free-to-play trial and you feel like you’ve already got your fill… you may still want to check out the new maps on offer.

That’s because the new free trial for the game includes a lot of season 2’s new content, including the new Zombies map The Tomb, new multiplayer maps such as Bounty and Dealership, and even the brand new “Overdrive” mode.

The new Overdrive mode is described as a “heart-pumping twist on Team Deathmatch” that sees players accumulate points in different ways to win, such as by getting extra points for headshots, melee attacks and special takedowns.

The more points you amass, the stronger your character will become - allowing you to see through walls, reload faster and reduce the recoil from weapons.

Outside of Overdrive and Zombies, you can also compete in several other multiplayer modes, including Nuketown 24/7, Stakeout 24/7, Gunfight, Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, Kill Confirmed and Kill Order.

The free trial is available from today until February 10th, so you have the entire weekend to jump in and give the game a go before the trial ends on Monday.

Don’t worry if you’re too busy to give it a go this time, though, as I’d wager that Activision and Microsoft are planning more of these in the future, given that this is the second one we’ve had in the past couple of months.

Keep your eye out for news of another free trial for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 sometime in April.
