If you are after a game that attempts to blend the elements of Call of Duty with a hint of sci-fi titles such as Starfield, then you might want to check out this indie shooter.

Sometimes we like to kick back, relax and play a simple shooter to pass the time and on the Steam store, there are plenty of games that offer such a luxury, especially when it comes to the countless indie titles available to play on the PC platform.

Check out the Dead Spaceshot trailer below!

From a AAA perspective, few franchises offer simplistic, high-octane action quite like Call of Duty - and when it comes to space exploration, the likes of Mass Effect and Starfield are always a good place to start.

However, if you want to play a game that is not to be confused with sci-fi survival horror Dead Space, and that involves simplistic indie shooter fun, then look no further than the upcoming Dead Spaceshot, developed and published by Hard Shark Games.

“In Dead Spaceshot, shoot robotic mutant aliens in the head, uncover the secrets of an abandoned military space base, and don't die,” reads the synopsis of the game on the Steam store. “Customise your weapons, face deadly enemies, and conquer new planets in this intense third-person sci-fi adventure.”

Judging by the gameplay trailer for Dead Spaceshot, it does indeed look very simplistic during its early stages of development but at the very least, it looks like it could be some fun.

A free demo for the game went live earlier today although at the time of writing, it's since been temporarily removed again, so I heartily recommend you keep an eye on the Steam listing to catch when the demo is reinstated as it's surely only a matter of time.

I guess we’ll find out more about how the game is developing when Dead Spaceshot releases in its early access phase on Steam sometime in the not-so-distant future.

Dead Spaceshot does not have a release date at the time of writing but you can wishlist it to be notified of when it launches into space otherwise known as the Steam store.
