New details surrounding Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’s release have just come to light, days before it is set for a full reveal at Gamescom 2025.
Last week, a new leak surfaced from credible Dealabs leaker billbil_kun, who was able to reveal a few details about the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
The insider has made claims about Black Ops 7 skipping a specific platform, the various editions that will be available, and importantly, the pricing.
According to billbil_kun, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will ship with two editions: Standard Edition and Vault Edition. That’s pretty normal, as it’s been that way for the past generation.

The leaker claims the Standard Edition will cost $69.99 at launch, with the Vault Edition being priced $30 more expensive at $99.99.
This seemingly goes against Microsoft’s earlier push for $80 AAA games, which began when The Outer Worlds 2 was put up for pre-order for $79.99.
However, the publisher later backtracked on this following criticism from players, and the price was adjusted down to $69.99.
Billbil-kun also alleges that Black Ops 7 will be released on 14th November, 2025. That's just over a month after Battlefield 6 is due to launch.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was originally announced during the Xbox Games Showcase at Summer Game Fest.
However, all we got was a CG trailer featuring actors Milo Ventimiglia and Kiernan Shipka, who are playing characters in the campaign.
A proper reveal is set to take place at Gamescom 2025. As teased by Xbox, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’s presence at Gamescom will feature “epic twists, developer intel, and the official start of a bold new chapter in Black Ops history.”
Whether that’s gameplay from singleplayer, multiplayer, zombies, or something else entirely remains to be seen.
