The best Fallout game ever made, and likely ever will be made, currently costs less than a coffee on Steam right now, and you’d be a fool to not grab it if you haven’t already.
While the Fallout series has always been popular it saw an increased level of activity when the first season of the live-action TV show debuted.
Fallout 4 saw a huge surge in player numbers and introduced many gamers to the Bethesda IP for the very first time, which is always nice to see.
Season 2 was a similar story as it took the plot of the series to the fan-favourite location of New Vegas. As such Fallout: New Vegas got a similar resurgence to Fallout 4.

Despite being outdated in some areas Fallout: New Vegas remains the best Fallout game ever made, and while Fallout 5 will superior on a technical level there’s a high chance of it failing to succeed New Vegas in terms of popularity. The game is just that good.
Rumour of a remaster has been doing the rounds for a while, but leakers have warned fans to not get their hopes up, as it’s not dropping for quite a while.
Why wait around for a remaster though when the original is just as good? Right now PC users can get the full game on Steam for a staggering £0.89, which is a ridiculously good price for a 100+ hour game.

The only thing that’s missing are the DLCs, all of which are worth playing but aren’t essential for your enjoyment of the game.
For those that seek the complete Fallout: New Vegas experience though the ultimate edition is also discounted at the moment, for a mere £3.99. That’s a bargain in every sense as while some DLCs are better than others they’re all bangers in their own right.
There are other benefits to playing the game on PC too, like mods. There are some incredible fan-made expansions waiting for you, such as Fallout: Chicago.
One mod in particular that deserves some love is Fallout: Tale Of Two Wastelands, which connects the maps of both Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 3 allowing you to hop between them and playthrough their respective stories.
Despite launching in 2010, Fallout: New Vegas is the game fans keep coming back to and if you’d be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t give it a try.
